TRANSLATION:
You, the Satguru, who give with grace,
do not exist.
We, the supreme disciple to receive it,
do not exist.
There is no threefold division of qualities.
There is no primary nescience;
nor is there Maya (Illusion).
There is no world arising as a bad dream.
There are no consequent beings or a Lord.
Is it not only the nature of the attributeless Supreme Brahmam
That remains all pervasive?
COMMENTARY:
O Our form of the Self! One who does not have a beginning, middle or end! Form of light and eternal Bliss! What is this strange thing? Lord, you do not exist as Satguru and
We do not exist as the supreme disciple with name and form. There is no division like three mental attributes (Sattwa, Rajas and
Tamas). There is no existence of insentient things like ocean, river and mountains or sentient entities like plant kingdom, aquatic creatures, birds, reptiles, animals and human beings.
There is no Maya, the illusory
power which activates these entities. There is no world which troubled Us earlier because of Our mental qualities. We cannot behold names and forms, even the Trinity of gods, who are supposed to have created, sustained and changed and renovated
this universe. We cannot find the forms of human beings, animals, birds, reptiles, aquatic creatures or invisible beings. Until the previous moment, they appeared to have existence. What happened now? Do they exist or have they disappeared and hidden themselves? A place is required to
hide but space and time do not exist. Did We dream? However, in the present state, We will not get any dream. The mind which perceives the world does not exist.
Is there any magician who has stolen them? Where will he carry them off? From where has he come? What a marvel! It is beyond the human faculties to express about the appearance and sudden disappearance of the phenomenal world within the blink of an eye, O Lord. Of what avail are the thousands of things that come or go?
Henceforth, why do We need such an enquiry about the world? We exist
as We!
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
