TRANSLATION:
Earlier, We were wandering as an ignoramus.
Today, here, We have become one who has realized We are the Self.
Earlier, We were misled about Our being the body.
Today, We have become one who has realized Ourself, the Seer".
Earlier, We had confused Ourself as thought.
Today, We have become one who has realized Ourself as all Consciousness.
Earlier, We remained as a distortion of Consciousness.
Today, We have become one who has realized Ourself as Consciousness Supreme.
COMMENTARY:
So far We have been governed by ordinary intellect without the sense of discrimination.
By your compassion, We have realized Our innate nature, 'We are the Self'! Until now, We
had taken this bag of worms (the body filled with filth) to be Ourself. By your grace, We
have now understood that We are not the object which we see, but the Consciousness
which sees everything. So far We had believed that We are the constantly oscillating Chitta and thereby suffered. By your grace, We have now realized that We are the Pure Consciousness. We, who had been contaminated by Chitta and mistaken Ourself to be of the nature of name and form and inert body, have now realized, by your compassion, that We are Brahmam.
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
