TRANSLITERATION:

TRANSLATION:
With the steadfast certitude
that We are Brahmam,
Cast afar the thought of the body and such.
With the steadfast certitude that the
world is Brahmam,
Cast afar the thought that the world is real!
If you are, thus, continuously certain that
We are Brahmam
And this world is Brahmam,
The delusion of the world,
the other worlds and ourself
Will wilt away like the flower gripped
in the hands of a sleeper.
COMMENTARY:
Give up the delusion that 'We are the body' by practising the Undivided attitude (Bhava):
'We are That; That We are!' Give up the infatuation that the world is real and abide in the Undivided attitude of the Self: 'Everything is We, and We are everything'.When you become established in the experience of the Self through the contemplation of the Supreme (Undivided attitude): 'We are That; That We are; everything is That', it is then that thoughts of names and forms of the world and mental tendencies drop away just as a fragrant flower slips down from the hand of a person when he goes to sleep. Now, you abide as That.
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
