TRANSLITERATION:
cakalamumâm ivaivêru nâmtâm vêru
carBrahmam vêrenreNNum bêta butti
akilamumê akaNTa para Brahmam enrum
atutânê nấm enrum nâm atuvenrum
vekuti Tamâm akaNTa para niccayattâl
vêraravê eLitâka nîngkum anri
ikalvu tarum karuma upâcanaiyâl onrum
iyambiya ipbêta mati eLitil nîngkâ (tu).
TRANSLATION:
The differentiation by the intellect that
All this is separate and We,
indeed, are separate
And that the Supreme Brahmam is separate
Can be uprooted only by the complete, steadfast, undivided certitude
That all is the undivided Supreme Brahmam.
That, indeed, is ourself and We are That.
The debilitating thought of differentiation cannot be easily removed
By any kind of worship or action.
COMMENTARY:
The wrong understanding that We are separate from others can be easily eliminated by the attitude of the Undivided Self. This false notion can not be eliminated by any other Karma (action and worship). This is the truth!!!
