Verse: 73

TRANSLITERATION:

cittam allâl prabañcam enrumillai
cittamtân prabañcam enavê tôrrum
cittam allâl camcâram enrumillai
cittamtân camcâram enavê tôrrum
cittamatai côtikkil cittê âkum
cittâna cittamatê Civamây nirkum
cittam illâ cinmayamâm Civam nâm enrê
cintittu cintittu Civamê yâvây.

TRANSLATION:

But for thought, there is no
phenomenal world.
Thought it is that appears as
the phenomenal world.
But for thought, there is no
birth-death cycle.
Thought it is that appears as
the birth-death cycle.
When inquired into, thought is found
to be Consciousness alone.
Thought, as Consciousness,
remains as Sivam.
We, indeed, are that Sivam,
full of thought-free Consciousness.
Contemplating thus, contemplating thus, become yourself that blessed state.

COMMENTARY:

There is nothing other than thought in the world! It is our thought which is projected as the body and world! But for thought, there is no birth and death cycle! When you inquire into thought-structure, it will be revealed as our Chit (the Self)! Mind-stuff is born out of our Chit! Hence, realize that Chit, not the mind-stuff, is the Truth! That is pure Sivam. Repeatedly reflect, 'We are verily Sivam', and thus become Sivam.

                  YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
