TRANSLITERATION:

irukkinra (tu) ilangkukinra (tu) inbamenrum
iyambiyiTum nâmamoTu rûpamenrum
tarukkamiTum ivvamsa pañcakattil
tayangkiya mun mûnramsam parattin rûpam
curukkamurum iraNTamsam jagattin rûpam
corporuLâm ivvamsam iraNTum taLLi
nerukkamurum cattiya cit cukamây mîntum
ninra param nâm enavê niccayippây.

TRANSLATION:

In the five-fold division
As Existence, Awareness, Bliss,
Name and form,
The major first three divisions are
of the nature of the Absolute,
And the minor two latter divisions are
of the nature of the world.
Casting aside these two divisions,
which are mere words,
Be of the certitude that We are the Absolute,
Which remains as
Existence-Consciousness-Bliss.

COMMENTARY:

Sat-Chit-Ananda is 'That' alone which exists in all the objects of names and forms; 'That'
alone moves and causes happiness (by its movement) through all the names and forms.
While the substratum 'That' remains the same, only names and forms keep changing and disappearing. Recognize the truth that in all three states (Sat-Chit-Ananda), Brahmam exists as Brahmam only. So, Sat-Chit-Ananda alone is the truth. Names and forms are illusory and are useful only for cognition and identification of objects in the phenomenal world. Hence, forget the names and forms and realize that we are Sat-Chit-Ananda.
