TRANSLATION:

The aphorism "That you are" by itself
Is a statement that ordains.
The aphorism "We are Brahmam"
Is a great statement of Awareness.
The delusionless aphorism "Absolute Knowledge is Brahmam"
Is a statement for practice through reflection.
The aphorism "Our Self is Brahmam"
Is a statement that confirms all these.

COMMENTARY:

Sri Sadguru expounds to the disciple the great aphorisms:

The great aphorism,
'That thou art' (Tat tvam asi), pointing to our true nature (We are That; That We are), is the supreme teaching.

The great aphorism, 'We are That' (Akam Brahmam), which can become our own
experience, has emerged out of Self-experience (of ancient sages).

The great aphorism, 'Pure Consciousness is Brahmam' (Prajnanam Brahmam), i.e. remaining absorbed in Brahmam-consciousness and not in body-world consciousness, has to be reflected upon with one-pointedness and full faith, free of doubts. Then the disciple proclaims:

The great aphorism, 'Self is Brahmam' (Ayam Atma Brahmam), describes verily the state
of being of the assembly of great beings who abide in Self-knowledge.

                  YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
