Verse: 61

TRANSLITERATION:

muktiyura vêNTumena iccai ceytal
mô Tcattin poruTTê tan vuyir tarittal
baktiyu Tan nanrâka vicâram ceytal
pângkâka para Brahma jnânam eytal
ittuvaita jagattai ellâm aramarattal
ittanaiyum paramârtta tasaiyil poyyê
atvaita para Brahmam onrê uNmai
atuvê nî aNuvum itil aiyamillai.

TRANSLATION:

The urge for liberation,
living for the purpose of liberation,
Deep, devoted inquiry,
Suitably attaining Knowledge
about the Supreme Brahmam,
And totally renouncing this
world of duality,
All this is unreal in the context
of the perfect Reality.
The non-dual Supreme Brahmam
is the only Reality,
And That, indeed, you are.
There is not a trace of doubt about this.

COMMENTARY:

Do not desire temporary freedom, like attaining to Kailash or Vaikunth, but dedicate your life to attaining the ultimate liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Even when one engages in rituals, such as worship of deity, the aim should be realization of the Self!

Do not classify the world, Jiva-s and deities into separate or different divisions of life i.e.
either as worldly or divine, but as belonging to the Transcendental State of Oneness.
Through this practice, negate the delusion of names and forms.

Thus, one should get the non-dual Self-experience, 'We are That; That We are'. 'That' is the only truth.

                   YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
