Verse: 55

TRANSLITERATION:

TRANSLATION:

Without anything to be characterized
as non-existent,
And without anything to be characterized
as existent here, either,
Without an atom of anything about
which to speak,
And being in utter, actionless Silence,
And immersed in afflictionless
undivided Supreme Bliss,
With all the originless travails of transmigration terminated,
Attain liberation without a trace of illusion
By rock-like, steadfast Knowledge
of the Supreme.

COMMENTARY:

There is neither an object about which we can say, ‘it does not exist’ nor an object with
name and form about which we can say, ‘it does exist with a particular attribute!’
Neither (words of) description (of an object), nor the described (object) exists.
Have a firm conviction that Brahmam, which is free from sorrow, confusion, doubt and fear, is the only Truth at all times. Be rooted firmly like the motionless Mount Maha Meru in the great Silence and destroy futile imagination!

                 YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
