TRANSLITERATION:
patampatamây colliyiTum nâmam illai
patârttamena colliyiTum uruvam illai
vitavitamây viLangkiya epporuLum illai
virinta jagajîvaparam evaiyum illai
cutantiramây orukâlum onrum inri
cuttamatây uLatu para Brahmam onrê
nitamtavirâtu ap Brahmam nâmê enru
nilaiperra jnânattâl muktanâvây
TRANSLATION:
Names uttered by different
words exist not.
Forms expressed by those
names exist not.
Entities manifesting in their
variety exist not.
The world, individual soul and
other worlds exist not.
The one thing that is ever free and
ever devoid of anything.
Is the pure Supreme Brahmam alone,
And We are that Brahmam.
without exception always.
By such firm Knowledge, be liberated.
COMMENTARY:
Names, which are subject to different interpretations, do not exist!
Forms, which give rise to varied expressions and names, do not exist!
The vast, wide world, Jiva-s and deities
do not exist at all!
Brahmam, free from bondage and
fully free, alone is real.
Be a liberated being through the gift
of Self-knowledge that the nature of truth.(Brahmam) and We are One!
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
