The Spontaneous Experience of the Self as Brahmam | Verse - 53

Verse: 53

TRANSLITERATION:

cakalamumê Brahmam ennum niccayattâl
jagam mutalîtu uNmaiyennum
pirânti nîngkum
tikal Brahmam nâm ennum niccayattâl
têgamutal nâm ennum pirânti nîngkum
tagumakanê! Âtalinâl ellâm enrum
tar Brahmam tâm enrum atu nâm enrum
vekutiTamâm anubûti aTainteppôtum
vêraravê mikavum upacântanâvây.

TRANSLATION:

By the conviction that all is Brahmam,
The misapprehension that this world and others are real will disappear.
By the conviction that We are Brahmam,
The misapprehension that We are the body and such will disappear.
Hence, son! Reaching the deep
steadfast awareness
That all is that Brahmam and That are We,
And devoid of any differences,
Be steeped in serenity.

COMMENTARY:

The mistaken identity of the world and its names and forms will vanish when you are
convinced that all you see through your eyes is Brahmam alone! If we have the firm conviction that we are Brahmam, the hallucination that we are the body will disappear! Hence, imbibe firmly the certitude that everything is Brahmam, and that we are also Brahmam and become the embodiment of peace!

                  YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
