Verse: 47
anavaratam akam Brahma niccayatai;
âtaravôTu atitiTamây apyâsittâl:
manatiluLLa vikarpamellâm munpu tîrntu;
marratutân virakarra vanniyê pôl;
tanatu nija atishTâna BrahmattinkaN;
tântânê cântiyurum âtalâlê;
conavitamây akam Brahma niccayattai;
cukamuravê mumuTchuvellâm palakal vêNTum.
If the conviction that We are Brahmam
Is assiduously practised daily,
All the misconceptions in the
mind will cease,
And all else will, like the fire with all firewood consumed,
Be extinguished by itself in peace,
In its own substratum, Brahmam.
Hence, all seekers after liberation
should practise at ease
This conviction that We are Brahmam,
as just explained here.
If the certitude, ‘We are Brahmam; We are That; That We are’ is practised with faith and
sincerity every moment, faults and defects of the mind, stemming from ignorance, will
subside gradually and disappear ultimately. All tendencies of the mind will be burnt down like fire, which extinguishes itself after the firewood is consumed. Therefore, as We have implored upon you, continue your contemplation: ‘We are Brahmam’, ceaselessly.
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
