Verse: 46
mahattâna mâyai enna? avittai enna?
mahattâna bantam enna? mukti enna?
mahattâna cittam enna? jîvan enna?
mahattâna jagangkaL enna? îsan enna?
mahattâna nâmam enna? rûpam enna?
matikkinra manatuTaiya ninai vanaittum,
mahattâna para Brahma sorûpamanri,
marraNuvum ilaiyenavê niccayippây!
What of the inscrutable Maya
and nescience?
What of great bondage and liberation?
What of great thoughts and beings?
What of the immense universe and the Lord?
What of the innumerable names and forms?
All the thoughts of the mind,
Are all only of the nature of the great, Supreme Brahmam and not an atom else!
Be of this conviction!
Where is the Maya, which deludes your mind and makes the One appear as two or many
and the non-existent phantom of the manifestation appear as having real existence and disappearance? Where is the cosmic nescience? Where is the bound Jiva? Where is the bondage of worldliness? Where is the liberation free from bondage? Where are the millions of universes? Where is the Lord who manifests these universes? Where are the countless names and forms? Everything is just the play of the eternal Brahmam and nothing is apart from It. Have trust in this fact and be firm in the certitude,
‘We are That! and That We are!’
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
