By remaining ever silent,
Shunning all company, resorting to solitude,
With an unagitated mind, remaining motionless like a rock,
With one-pointed attention,
Being ever of the attitude that We are the Supreme, Existence-Knowldedge-Bliss,
Becoming quiescent and free from even the "Knowledge of That",
And transcending all misconception,
You will abide as That Itself and be liberated.
Initially, one may stay in seclusion and abide in silence, which is one’s natural state.
However, silence does not mean that one should stop talking. Having restraint or minimizing one’s talk is silence. Speech will be automatically cut down if one stops the habit of finding faults with others. In the initial stage, the seclusion may create a fear in your mind, i.e. fear, uncertainty or doubts about one’s course of Sadhana, whether you are pursuing the right goal in life or if everything about spirituality is a figment of one’s imagination, fear of being subjected to the ridicule of family and friends, getting disturbed by others’ opinions, etc. At that time, do not be overpowered by confusion, fear or doubt. If you cast away fault-finding, biased vision and likes and dislikes, sense of separation and maintain peace and practise this conviction: ‘We are That and That We are’, you will attain liberation.
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
