Verse: 40

manatatutân nin cahaja sorûpamânâl
marratutân mîLâtu mâNTu pôkum
manatuTaiya mîLâta mâyvu tânê
mahattâna môTcanilai atanâl maintâ!
manatatanai mîLâtu mâykka vêNTi
mahattâna para Brahma niccayattai
manatorumaiyuTan ceytu manatai mâyttu
mahattâna muktinilai mêvi nirpây!

If your mind is always your natural Self,
It will, thereby, as well,
be irreversibly destroyed.
The irreversible destruction of the mind
Is the great state of liberation.
Hence, son! Inborder to irreversibly
destroy the mind,
Practise the certitude of the
Supreme Brahmam
With a one-pointed mind and
destroy the mind
And embrace the magnificent
state of liberation.

If the wandering mind is rooted firmly in the state of the Supreme, ‘We are That; That
We are’, it will be obliterated. By disappearance (death) of the mind, it is meant that mind attains the transcendental Consciousness. This is the state of Jivan Mukti. Therefore, to attain this Supreme state, reflect on the truth, ‘We are Brahmam’ continuously like the flow of oil. Through this practice, attributes of names and forms of the world will be annihilated. Metaphor: Just as a sharp needle is required to remove the thorn from the foot, the conviction, ‘We are That’ is required to get rid of the worldly impressions of the mind. After the thorn is removed, both the needle and thorn can be thrown away.

                     You Are Everything!
