Just as the Jiva-s and the plants
That are seen as appearances
in the dream are only illusory,
The manifold world, individuals
and the other worlds,
That are sought as the seen in the
waking state are also only illusory.
Only Brahmam, the Seer,
Which is not different from the Self and which knows all else,
Is ever imperishable and true.
There is not an atom of doubt in
what is said.
The objects seen in dream are not visible in waking state, and objects seen in waking state are not visible in dream. Waking and dream states are absent in deep sleep. As the objects seen by you do not exist in all the three states, they are false; but you, the Seer, who see the objects, exist in all the states; therefore, the Seer or Self alone is the truth. You may ask, 'We see the objects and the world; are these false?" You see the objects only through your imagination and enjoy them! You yourself create them within you. As you are not apart from the Self, Brahmam, nothing exists apart from you! The supreme feeling, 'We are That; That We are' is the only truth!
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
