What is done by the mind is
what really is done.
What is done by others
(sense organs and organs of actions)"
does not constitute action.
All that is seen day by day by
the steadfast mind,
Is, indeed, the Seer", the infinite
Supreme Brahmam",
And That is ourself."
If you have this steadfast Bhava of mind about the infinite Supreme Brahmam",
You shall conquer the mind with such profound meditation.
And, totally undisturbed, be at peace.
Whatever is done by mind (thoughts) alone is (and produces) Karma. Work done by the body is not Karma, as the inert body, having no volition of its own, is activated by the mind. The meaning is: Thought causes Karma; Karma is caused by thought. The body is only an instrument. Metaphor: Karma is compared to rice and the body to a grinder. If there is no rice (Karma), there is no need for a grinder (the body). If there is no grinder (the body), rice cannot be crushed into flour. As long as there is rice (Karma), a grinder (the body) is also required. If there is no rice (Karma), we can throw away the grinder (the body).
While contemplating on the Undivided State (We are That), Karma (rice) is not created. In the absence of Karma, there is no future birth. Therefore, cultivate the supreme attitude.
YOU ARE EVERYTHING!
